Basic Sugar Scrub:

2 parts sugar (white, or brown)
1 part oil (coconut, almond, or extra virgin olive)
Mix ingredients and put in an airtight jar. Does not need to be refrigerated.
Other ingredients can be added to this or any recipe, for example 1/2 teaspoon of vitamin E or a few drops of food coloring.

Lemon Sugar Scrub:
lemon
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
20-30 drops lemon essential oil (start with less and stop when scent is right for you)
Mix ingredients and put in an airtight jar. Does not need to be refrigerated.
Variations: use orange or grapefruit essential oil in place of lemon; or for Lemon Mint Scrub add some peppermint essential oil in place of some of the lemon; consider adding curls of lemon peel for added texture and scent.

Lavender Sugar Scrub:
lavender
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
15-20 drops lavendar essential oil (adjust to your liking)
Mix ingredients and put in an airtight jar. Does not need to be refrigerated.
Variation: add lavender directly to the mixture for added texture and enhanced scent.

Eucalyptus Sugar Scrub (great for nasal congestion and sinus pressure too):
eucalyptis
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup coconut oil
8-10 drops eucalyptus essential oil (adjust to your liking)
Mix sugar and coconut oil together first, as Coconut oil has thick texture. Once mixed add essential oil and any food coloring. Put in an airtight jar. Does not need to be refrigerated.
*Some colors of food coloring can stain skin so be aware if you choose to add color

Honey Sugar Scrub (great for cleaning hands. Great idea for men):
Brown-Sugar-Scrub
1 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup almond oil
2Tbs honey
Mix ingredients and put in an airtight jar. Does not need to be refrigerated.
Variations: add essential oil to your liking. Some ideas for manly scents can be found here
